About the Project:
Workspace — a cross-platform workspace that includes a messenger, calendar, and email. I was the sole Flutter developer on the team, responsible for designing the architecture, selecting the technology stack, and bringing the application to the MVP stage. The application supports core messaging features: sending, editing, and deleting messages; reactions; forwarding; replies; and multi-select. It also supports viewing and sending media, including video, audio, and images.
My Role:
I was the project’s sole Flutter developer and independently built the application from the ground up. I designed the application architecture following Clean Architecture principles, selected the technology stack, and implemented the core infrastructure, including navigation, state management, dependency injection, networking, and local data storage.
I developed a full-featured messenger with message sending, editing and deletion, reactions, replies, forwarding, and multi-select functionality. I also implemented support for images, video, and audio, integrated the Zulip API, and configured real-time updates using long polling.
The application was adapted for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Linux, and the web. I was responsible for the entire client-side development lifecycle—from the initial project setup and technical decisions to delivering a working MVP.
